Children And Math Problems
After watching my nephew doing his homework, I’ve been thinking a lot of how lucky children who live these days compared to in our old days. I can remember how math always got me some headache during school. Staying at home in the afternoon, doing my math homework, I had always imagined about having my own math problem solver. You know, someone into whom I could always run every time I got math problem. Did you have the same imagination??
Anyway, that doesn’t seem to happen to my nephew. He can always have his own personal math homework help anytime he wishes to. And what surprises me is, it’s not his mom or dad (because I’m sure they’re not better than me in math! LOL…). My nephew gets all he needs to support his education from the internet. Yep! These online tutor sites offer a lot of supports for our children in their education. They do it in a person-to-person tutorial, which enable each tutor to adjust with the child’s need and condition.
They even offer a help in math word problems! I like stories, and I think studying math through some words or stories is an interesting idea. It helps children to understand math equation faster. For example, I remember one afternoon my nephew had a math word problem, and he borrowed my computer to get a help from his online math tutor. He can solve it in just several minutes.
Hey…I tell you what! Maybe someday I’ll post a math word problem my nephew has in this blog. You can try to solve it guys, just think it as a brain game. Then we will see who is doing better, my nephew with his online math tutor or -- you?!...
